The High Line is one of my very favorite places in New York City. Created from what was once a decrepit elevated railway, The High Line is now a really long skinny park, running above 10th Avenue on the West side of the city. It’s an oasis, really – a place of respite where one can take 30 minutes to walk the length of it and feel revived. Inspired by the amazing and sometimes otherworldly foliage there, I’m spending 2011 making a linocut print each week from photographs taken on The High Line.
